How to Develop Positive Body Language
When youconverse every part of your body participates in that conversation and says alot about your whole attitude. Sometimes your body language emphasizes on thewords that you are saying. So, if you have a positive body language it willhelp you achieving your goal even faster. No matter if you are trying impress ahot girl or your boss positive body language is a big asset. It adds to yourpersonality and makes people like you even more. You can develop one in caseyou don’t already have it. We will tell you how.
Eyes
Also maintaineye contact with the person you are talking to. However, there is a differencebetween steady eye contact and staring. Staring can mean aggression so, shiftyour eyes in between conversation and then resume eye contacts. Just don’t makethe shift too sudden or too long. Eye contacts tell the speaker that you arelistening to him or her. You should avoid scowling.
Smiling Power
Your smile canreally disarm your enemies. Keep smiling. Smiling also reflects an optimisticoutlook and tells others that you are a nice person to converse with. Yoursmile will encourage the speaker to talk to you. This is a good weapon to win adate. Your smile will also create positive impression on your interviewers.
Hand Gestures
Certain handmovements are also noted as being positive. You should keep your hands visibleto the speaker. This is to tell the other person that you are trustworthy. Donot stand in akimbo or folding your arms in front of your chest. Whereas thefirst one is an aggressive gesture the second one is a defensive one. Do notkeep your hands in the pocket. If someone is talking to you then you should notplay with other objects in front of you. This will only mean that you are notinterested in the conversation. You should also not touch your face too muchthis can project you as a deceptive person.
Head
An erect headmeans a confident person. Try to develop this head posture. Everybody likes tostay in the company of a confident person, because he or she gives the feel ofsecurity to others.
The Right Walk
Don’t walk toofast or too slow. Though we have different pace of walking but it is better ifyou can keep it brisk. This is another positive sign signifying your confidencelevel.
Sitting
Sit straight.Your spine should be on a 90-degree angle with your lower half of the body.This is a suggestion that you should not forget while attending a meeting or aninterview. This particular posture will improve your confidence level. Do notslouch.
